Some of the most beautiful events start with a simple referral, and this one turned into something truly unforgettable.

A friend referred a friend, who reached out to us, but the real mastermind behind it all was Opeyemi’s husband, who wanted to pull off a surprise 40th birthday celebration she would never expect.

The twist?
They live outside Canada… but chose to celebrate in Missisauga, Ontario, a place filled with special memories for them.

Now the big question:
How do you get someone into the country for their own surprise party without them suspecting anything?

🤫 The Plan

We needed a believable reason—and we found one: A birthday getaway to Niagara Falls. It was the perfect cover. And to make it even better? They actually did visit Niagara Falls the day after the celebration.

While she thought she was coming for a quiet trip, we were working behind the scenes—coordinating guests traveling from different locations, finalizing details, and keeping everything completely under wraps.

Thoughtful Touches

Because Opeyemi is naturally conservative and wouldn’t typically imagine a party like this, every detail was designed to feel intentional and comfortable.
